Romatt is committed to providing high-quality domiciliary care services which enable our Service users to live in their own homes with tailored support, promoting and maintaining their independence for as long as possible.
OUR AIMS & OBJECTIVES
We continually strive to develop and innovate to ensure that our Service users receive the best responsive quality services, which helps maintain their independence and dignity.
We will ensure that we lawfully obtain the consent of all people using our Service and those acting on their behalf and assure that the person who receives the consent has the necessary knowledge and understanding of the care or treatment for which they are asking consent.
We will involve our service user in planning a comprehensive and detailed individual assessment of needs, focusing on outcome-based support, and providing the Service user with a person-centred support plan which reflects their assessment need.
We will assess the risks to service users’ Health and Safety during any care or treatment and ensure that our staff have the qualifications, competence, skills and capability to keep people safe.
We will acknowledge the vital role of family Carers and others involved in the lives of our service users and will endeavour to support and work with these people as partners in the planning and delivery of services.
We will ensure Service user expectations of our services are met; this will include knowing who will deliver their Service and when, as well as consulting them on options such as the sex of the person who provides their care.
We will have a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, unlawful discrimination, and restraint by having robust procedures and processes to prevent service users from being abused by staff or other people they may have contact with when using the Service, including visitors.
We will communicate with our service users in a respectful and dignified manner that they can understand and acknowledge.
We will ensure service users have a clear set of written terms and conditions detailing their obligations.
We will support Care Workers and promote lifelong learning and investment in their continuous professional development.
We will provide information to our service users in an appropriate manner or format which they can understand and acknowledge.
We will have systems for identifying, receiving, handling, and responding to complaints from service users, people acting on their behalf or other stakeholders. And we will thoroughly investigate all complaints, and where failures are identified, we will take all necessary action.
We will have effective governance, including assurance and auditing systems or processes, in place to assess, monitor and drive improvement in the quality and safety of the services we provide, including the quality of the experience for people using our Service.
